Update on Ellyanna

My brother was disappointed that I haven't been keeping up my blog so this post is for Uncle Jeff. We have been busy getting ready for Ellyanna and can't wait for her to get here. We decided on the name shortly after we found out we were having a girl. Elly was always a name that we liked. Some of the other names I liked were Chloe and Grace. She is named after myself and the two most important women in my life; my mom and Meemaw. My Mom's middle name is Ellen, and mine and my Meemaw's is Anne so it is a combination of the two. She will be called Elly as well too. Ellyanna is a version of Eliana which means the lord has responded. We feel that the lord responded by helping us get pregnant again. And her middle name is going to be Grace because I love the name and I feel that it was by the grace of God that I am pregnant again and with a little girl, not that I wouldn't have been just as excited if it was a boy. It's just that with all the fertility problems that we had with Wyatt and now with Elly, and the shots I have to take to stay pregnant, I don't think we will have any more kids. Now we have our little boy and will soon have our little girl and I couldn't be happier, unless God has other plans for us. After we decided on her name, we had a huge dilemma on how to spell it. Or should I say, I had the dilemma. I don't think Joe cared one way or the other. When I originally thought of Elly it was going to be Ellie. Joe liked Elianna a lot, but I worried that her name would get misprounouced more often that way. It is pronounced like Anne-ah, not Aun-ah. We decided to spell it Ellyanna because of the y also being in Wyatt's name. Wyatt is getting very excited. He asks often how I'm going to get the baby out of my belly. He also asks when she is coming. He understands way more than I ever thought he would. Her room is all done, and I love it. Wyatt likes to play in it as well and climb in her crib. A few days after we brought her antique white dresser home, Wyatt called us in to her room to show us what he had done. He had drawn all over one of the dresser drawers and was so proud. Luckily it was with pencil and came off easily. Now every pen in the house is hidden. Here are some pics of her nursery.

We had a 4d ultrasound at 26 weeks. Here are a few pics. They aren't the best quality. I forgot to scan them before I put them in her scrapbook so I had to take pics of them with my cell phone.

We also got maternity pics taken. Here are a few of those.

I am now a little over 30 weeks pregnant. I was measuring at 29 weeks a day short of 30 weeks. All of the ultrasounds have been normal. We are just hoping and praying for a healthy baby girl in 8 to 10 weeks. I feel good lately, but this pregnancy has definitely been harder on me than with Wyatt. Wyatt is doing great and growing up so much. His favorite thing to do is ride his tricycle or scooter outside. He is such a smart, loving little boy, and I couldn't be happier. He has an imaginary daughter named Paris. He talks about her all the time. He pretends that he's going to house or that she is calling him on the phone. It is very cute, and I have no idea where he came up with the name Paris. Oh, and we are now the proud owners of a mini van. We knew we were definitely going to get a larger vehicle. We originally thought an SUV with third row seating, but when we test drove the van at Dad's work, we quickly realized how nice and convenient it is with kids. We decided to get it and are very happy with it so far. Wyatt loves the DVD player and has been spoiled lately because it has the backseat Sirius TV so I have let him watch Mickey or cartoons in the morning. We traded in Joe's truck and Joe is driving the Jeep for probably another year or so. Hope you enjoyed the update. Enjoy the pics. Bye for now.

Exciting News

I am 13 weeks pregnant and due December 1st. We are so exited, and cannot wait for Wyatt to be a big brother. He is very excited. He varies on what he thinks it is, but he usually says baby sister. We will have our ultraound on July 7th. We have been calling the baby Max and Wyatt thinks it's so funny. He laughs when you say Wyatt and Max Kuckartz. We cannot wait to find out what we are having, and will be so happy either way. I would love to have a daugter but another little Wyatt running around would be perfect too. We are just hoping and praying for a healthy baby! Wyatt is just perfect and so much fun these days. He is potty trained which I love. We still put him in a diaper or pull up at night, but it will be so nice to go six months or more without buying diapers. He is loving the warm weather and never wants to come inside or quit playing in the water. Well we wanted to share our exciting news with you. Bye for now.

Wyatt's Second Birthday and Easter

I am about a month late posting this...sorry. Wyatt turned two on March 11th. We had a wonderful day. Joe and I both took the day off to spend it with our favorite birthday boy. We went to Red Robin for lunch and all the wait staff sang Happy Birthday to him and gave him balloons. After nap, MeMe and PaPa came over for dinner and cake. We gave him his rollercoaster then too. The following Saturday, we had a truck party at home with close family and friends. It was a lot of fun, and Wyatt got so many trucks!!!

I can't believe Easter has came and gone. This year is flying by already. We also had a wonderful Easter. Wyatt loved the Easter Bunny. We saw him at the mall and at a Easter Egg Hunt at Church. He also had fun coloring eggs. The Easter Bunny left his basket at the front door the day before Easter since we weren't going to be home on Easter. He was so excited and then the Easter Bunny came to see him again twice at his Grandma's and MeMe's house. We spent the night before Easter with Grandma Candy and PaPa Kenny where he went on an Easter Egg Hunt and we spent Easter Day with MeMe and PaPa Jeff where he had another egg hunt. Wyatt got so many presents and candy. He was in candy Heaven.

So, on a side note...Wyatt is almost potty trained I think. He started asking to pee and poop a lot lately in the potty, so we decided to give potty training a try. We started last Friday and about a week later, he is doing awesome. It's Monday today and the last accident he had was on Thursday night. He went all weekend without an accident. We are so proud of him. He is even to the point now where he tells us when he has to go almost all of the time. I can't believe how fast my little boy is growing up. Bye for now!

We are back from Florida, and we had a wonderful time. We went to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, looked for chamelions outside my Grandfather's house, fed seagulls at the beach, and spent a day at Disney World. We also stopped by a tent full of animals from a local rescue group that were set up in the grocery parking lot for the weekend. There Wyatt got to hold a baby lion. He enjoyed this tent of animals so much. When you ask him about Florida. He says camel peeing, kangaroo jumping and tiger big mouth. Those are all the things he saw there. Wyatt loved looking for chamelions. He wanted to spend almost every minute we were there outside looking for lizards. He would be very quiet trying to find them and then scream and point when he finally did. He even held one. He enjoyed being outside so much, and even though it could have been warmer, it made me excited for spring. We went on a couple of walks and he told me to be quiet because we might see a bear. The day we went to the beach it was windy and chilly, so we didn't stay there very long. Wyatt cried when we had to leave. My mom and I took him to Disney World for the day. We had a wonderful time. Wyatt got to meet Pluto, Mickey and Minnie. We rode Dumbo, which was his favorite, the haunted house, It's a Small World, Aladdin's flying carpet, teacups, and Peter Pan's ride. It was nice to spend some quality time with my parents and my grandfather, who's turning 85 on Sunday. Wyatt and I flew home on Wednesday, and he did really well on the plane. He sat on my lap the whole time watching movies, reading books and eating snacks. He loved when we were landing and we got low enough that he could see the semi trucks on the ground. He kept pointing them out. I can't believe my little man is turning two next week. He is so sweet, so smart, so funny...I am so lucky and I couldn't ask for more. Enjoy the Florida pics. Bye for now!
