Thankful

I enjoy quality family time hanging out at the house so much more than I used to because Wyatt is here. He makes everyday so much fun, even just a regular day at home.
It was a relaxing weekend at home.Wyatt got to meet Joe's friend Tim this weekend for the first time. He was a little scared of him though. He has been a little stranger shy lately, going through some separation anxiety too. He is making sure mommy and daddy are close by. He got to hang out with Grandma Candy and Papa Kenny as well. He sees my parents every week or so, but doesn't get to see Candy and Kenny as often though. He had a lot of fun with them though. He is a very lucky boy to have four grandparents who love him so much. His top two teeth are all the way through, and it looks like he might have a gap like his mommy and daddy did. He spends very little time in the walker, but has learned to manuever it very well. He even can get around on the carpet, though not as fast. He moves around looking for things to get into, drawers, towels, etc... He is eating a lot of finger foods now, but still enjoying his baby food and breastmilk. He still cannot figure out how to crawl forward. He pushes himself backwards and he tries to stand up on his feet like the elephant crawl. He gets so mad. I feel so bad for him, because I know he wants to go forward so bad, but I've tried everything. I know he will on his own time. We might have turned a corner with the sleeping. He is a very good sleeper, but hates to go to sleep and usually cries. The past few days he has gone down with out a fight, and has even been playing in his crib when he wakes up. He played in the leaves this weekend. He liked crinkling them up, and of course wanted to put them in his mouth.
He loves it outide and seems to really enjoy the cold weather too. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful this year for Wyatt. He has brought such joy to my life and many other lives as well. He has been so funny lately. He has this little half laugh that he does and it just cracks me up. He is also getting a little naughty as well. He keeps pinching me. I'm really working on no, but he usually just laughs at me. It's so much fun watching him grow and see his personality taking shape. Thanksgiving is also mine and Joe's four year wedding anniversary. This is the best one yet by far, because we have Wyatt to celebrate with us. I thank God everynight for him, and I will continue to be thankful for him every day of our lives. Bye for now.

Wyatt Waving

This is going to be a short post, but I wanted to post the video of Wyatt waving. He has been doing it for a few weeks now, but just yesterday started to wave on a more regular basis and we caught it on video. We had another playdate today with Dani Binder. They had a lot of fun. Dani is about a month and a half older and they play well together. Here's are a couple pics of Wyatt and Dani playing.
Bye for now.

Oh How Times Have Changed

Tonight was Thanksgiving Dinner at Aimie and Jeff's. Dinner was great, and it was great to see good friends. Most of us have babies now, and it is so much fun to see all of the kids together. It's crazy how much has changed in just a few short years. It used to be a big party when we all got together. Tonight everyone was home by ten o clock. Times have definitely changed for the better though. Those times were fun and we all had a blast but we are all so blessed with beautful families now. I am so thankful for my little man, my family, and that my friends have their own little families as well. Joe and I feel so blessed to not only have wonderful families, but to have so many amazing friends. While Wyatt and Blake are three months apart, and don't play much now they will probably end up being best buddies in the future because their parents are. Here's a couple of pics of Wyatt and Blake in their matching sweater vests.

Here's a pic of Wyatt, Marlee and Blake. They are all exactly three months apart. Wyatt was born on March 11th, Blake on June 11th and Marlee on September 11th. One day Wyatt and Blake might be fighting over Marlee; she is one pretty little girl.
Sophie joined in the fun in this pic. Sophie and Wyatt are only four days apart, and see eachother every week for now at Aquababies.

Mason and Ella were the older kids of the bunch. Wyatt enjoyed playing with them too. The only one I didn't get a picture of was Brady :( We love our friends and their families so much. By the way, this is my second post today. Bye for now.

A Day in the Life of Wyatt's World

Here is a video playing with his toy, and Hunter and Daisy are surrounding him. I thought everyone might want to see what he has to put up with on a daily basis. Everywhere we are, the dogs are close by, guaranteed. He does love them though. He talks to them all the time, and grabs them. He goes for their bones and they go for his toys. He loves this toy. He doesn't pay much attention to it when he is sitting, but he loves to stand and play on it. We are off to a Thanksgiving dinner tonight where he will be able to play with his best buddies Blake and Sophie, and meet a new friend Brady. I have to get ready for that, so will post more later. Bye for now.

8 Months Old Today

Wyatt is eight months old today. I don't have much new to post, but my brother Jeffrey who lives in New York asked for more videos. So, here is a short video of Wyatt laughing. I can really get him going. He loves it when I scare him and I tell him I'm going to get him. He is still working on those two top teeth, and they are really bothering him. He has been getting up around midnight for the past few days wanting to nurse-he usually sleeps 10-12 hours a night. We started some soft finger foods this month. He loves to eat. He weighs about 21 1/2-22 pounds now and is about 28 1/2 inches long. He's been kind of a mommy's boy lately, but he gets very excited when Daddy comes home from work. And he enjoys bath time with Daddy. Here's a pic in his new winter hat. He had a playdate with Taylor Morales and he had a lot of fun. Here is a pic of Wyatt and Taylor. Here's the video; enjoy Uncle Jeff and everyone else. Bye for now.

A Rough Couple of Days

The past few days have been a little rough for all of us, Wyatt especially. Wyatt had the flu all weekend. Monday he still wasn't keeping much down so I had to take him to the emergency room so he could get some iv fluids. It was so sad to see them put an iv in him, and he didn't like it very much. He was definitely a trooper though and all the nurses loved him. He was mildly dehydrated and his blood sugar was a little low so after a couple rounds of iv fluids, we were good to go home. He still didn't feel very well yesterday. He wouldn't take the bottle at all, and would only nurse a little. On top of the flu, he has had a cold for a couple of weeks and his top two teeth are starting to show. He is pretty much back to normal today though, a little fussy still, but I think a lot of it has to do with his teeth. Here's a pic from the hospital in his hospital gown with his iv. On a lighter note, he is obsessed with saying da da. I managed to get a video of it. He is still a champion backwards crawler. I think he's close but he hasn't made it forwards yet. He will go from a sitting position to his tummy if he wants to get a toy, but then scoots backward instead of forward. He also waved bye bye a couple of times the other night, but I haven't been able to get him to do it since. Bye for now.
